THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO ENTER:

(1): Entry with Purchase: Eligible participants will automatically receive one (1) entry each time they make necessary purchases and successfully submit a claim for a free item under Totaline’s 2012 WIN WIN Program, up to a maximum of three (3) automatic entries per each quarterly drawing. Specific, detailed instructions on how to fulfill purchase requirements and submit claims for free items under Totaline’s 2012 WIN WIN Program are available at www.totaline.com, or at your local Totaline Sales Center. To qualify for a quarterly Prize drawing by entry with purchase method, eligible participants must make necessary purchases and successfully submit a claim for a free item under Totaline’s 2012 WIN WIN Program by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the dates set forth in the table in the Winner Selection section below. The Prizes will be awarded in random drawings held as indicated in the Winner Selection section below. Non-winning entries from any quarterly drawing will not be carried over to subsequent quarterly drawings.

(2): No Purchase Entry: To enter without purchase, eligible participants should hand-write their full name, date of birth, company name and address (no PO boxes), State, Province or locality issuing HVAC/R certification or license, license or certification number, location of the Totaline Store where most of their purchases are made, and a daytime phone number on a 3"x5" postcard and mail to: Carrier Corporation, Replacement Components Division, P.O. Box 4808, Syracuse, New York 13221, Attn: Totaline 2012 WIN-WIN Sweepstakes Entry.  Limit of one (1) entry without purchase per person per quarter. To qualify for a quarterly Prize drawing by no purchase entry method, eligible participant’s entry must be received by Sponsor by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the dates set forth in the table in the Winner Selection section below. Photocopies or mechanical reproductions of mail-in entries not permitted. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. All no purchase entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. The Prizes will be awarded in random drawings held as indicated in the Winner Selection section below. Non-winning entries from any quarterly drawing will not be carried over to subsequent quarterly drawings.

 

WINNER SELECTION:
Each quarterly Prize will be awarded in a random drawing held as indicated in the table below from among all eligible entries received during each quarterly entry period as set forth in these Official Rules.

PRIZES:
One of the following prize during each of 2012’s four (4) calendar quarters, for a total of four (4) prizes awarded: $500 Best Buy gift card.

Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received each quarter. Prize winners will be notified by phone, email or mail. For entries with purchase, prizes will be awarded to the owner of the account on which the relevant purchase was made, unless the account owner gives written permission for the eligible participant to receive the Prize. Winners agree to Sponsor’s use of their name, city and province of residence and/or likeness in any marketing and promotion activities, including but not limited to on Sponsor’s website, without further compensation except where prohibited by law. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash and prize substitutions will not be allowed, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in Sponsor’s sole discretion if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Any taxes or fees which may arise and be due or asserted on account of the prize shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Internet or telephone access and services charges necessary to enter the Sweepstakes or utilize the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

 

ELIGIBILITY:
The Sweepstakes is only open to licensed or certified HVAC/R dealers or contractors who are legal residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia or Canada (excluding Quebec) and 18 years of age or older as of January 1, 2012. Employees of the Sponsor, its parents, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members (spouse and parents, children and siblings and their spouses, and individuals living in the same household) of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.  All federal, state and provincial laws and regulations apply.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.  By entering or otherwise participating in the Sweepstakes, all participants agree and consent to the receipt, collection, use and distribution of their personal information by Sponsor and its agents and representatives with respect to any and all matters related to the Sweepstakes.  The Sponsor and its officers, directors, representatives, agents and employees are not responsible or liable for: (1) incorrectly sent or received entries; (2) mail, telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, internet or computer problems; (3) errors or delays in sending or receiving entries; (4) any events beyond the control of the Sponsor, including those which may cause the Sweepstakes to be delayed or stopped; (5) any damage, injury, loss or liability to person or property, caused by the acceptance or use of the Prize or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (6) any printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to the Sweepstakes.  The Sponsor may stop you from participating in the Sweepstakes if you ignore the Official Rules or act: (a) in a manner determined to be unlawful, deceptive or unfair; (b) with an intent to annoy, threaten or harass any other entrant or the Sponsor; or (c) in any other disruptive manner. Sponsor has neither made, nor is in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize, regarding the use, value or enjoyment of the Prize.

 

RELEASE:
By accepting a prize, winner agrees to release and hold Sponsor and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and their officers, directors, employees, agents successors and assigns harmless from any and all losses, costs, expenses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind, including but not limited to consequential damages, resulting directly or indirectly from participation in the Contest and/or acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage. By participating in this Contest entrant agrees to be bound by all Official Rules of this Contest.
